Had a place do mine in Reno for $400 with a new thicker copper core ( has air conditioning), plus solder, for the 1956 Hudson

Have same NOS too , and I don't know what they are either.

VW ones look like these.

Those don't look at all like the VW ones.

Bought some from a VW dealer, as they have metal ones for a older VW bug that work for Hudsons.

Looks like a restorable car.
