Hi all, I am restoring my 30-Great Eight Brougham, and am trying to find the right colors.
The car was originally painted Malaga Maroon
What is the right color on the Engine?
Close examination of the block reveal some kind of dark green, but I am not certain. That could be a primer or later paint job also.
The sump is black and shows no sign of being repainted.
Was there a standard engine color for Hudson at the time?

Actually, is it the correct color on the 30-Brougham at Hostetler's Hudson Museum in Indiana ? (see attached picture)
