I am having some issues with the passenger side latch on my 1934 Hudson. The latch extends out an additional 3/16-1/4 inch beyond the door and wont retract enough to clear the catches. There is a tab inside the latch that hits against a tab stop that is stamped in the latch. My problem is the tab is bent down from the latch and the tab stop seems to be manufactured that way. Anyone have a passenger side latch they could look at and see if this has been modified. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
