Dillinger and his gang robbed many cars, but as far as I know he only purchased 2. A 1930 chevy coup when he got out of prison in 1933, and a 1933 terraplane during the time he has considerable money after many successful bank robberies. Supposedly he chose the terraplane 8 because of its greatest hospepower to weight ratio, Does anyone have a car like this? How are they to drive and maintain?

Does anyone out there know what the original color of John Dillinger's terraplane was? I see the car on display but it is red, I don;t think that was the original color.
