Does anyone have an idea what an assembled (minus accessories) Hudson 8 engine weighs?

Matt-Heavy !! LOL. An educated guess would be 5-600 LBS. There are a few variables here. Aluminum intake and head. If it is an original,and has an aluminum head,it is probably stuck solid as a rock!! just been my experience!

That's what I was figuring. This one is all steel, its about all I can do to lift the crank, and it takes two to lift a bare block. Gotta check the hauling capacity of the car next 🙂
