Heidi Hetzer is on a worldwide odyssey in her 1930 Hudson Eight. She's currently working her way up the West Coast of the U.S.
She is in need of a 1930 hubcap and also has some question about over-use of cooling water, and a "fix" that someone did along her journey, which made the car run better.
You can find the discussion at the "other" Hudson forum, at http://forum.hetclub.org/discussion/167485/heidi-hetzer-and-her-1930-hudson-now-arrived-la-usa#latest
It's really a shame she isn't stopping over in Colorado. She'd get a lot of advice and a lot of questions answered.

I agree, Alex.
Carl Weber provided a hubcap (correct but weathered) at Colorado Springs which was given to Larry Kennedy, who lives in Indianapolis. Heidi will be able to get it when she passes through Indiana.

Great!
UPDATE:
Heidi had to skip both Indianapolis and Chicago, due to a number of mechanical mishaps which set her schedule back. So, Carl's hubcap found its way to the Hudson Museum in Ypsilanti, where (I BELIEVE!) Heidi is to pick it up later today (Sept. 6).
Jon,
Thanks for the update. I hope she's gotten it!

I wonder if Heidi has a copy of the latest H-E-T roster - the THE help could be invaluable.
