The good news is that the membership database is running on the latest software version. The bad news is that it required a change in functionality and for some reason wound up sending out a " Your Hudson Essex Terraplane Club membership expires soon!" message to all members.
If you received this email, my apologies. You can disregard, unless you know your dues are due!
As it usually goes, the offending email went out like a flash and my explanation is caught up in the scheduler (which is where the problem was in the first place). I know I will reach a few folks on here.

The "just my luck" of this is that the system shotgunned out all the reminder emails, but my email explaining it is going out 400 at a time. In the meantime, anxious members are emailing me about their memberships. Thank God for technology, without it I would be doing something silly like working on my Hudsons!

Oh the wonders of technology... doing things you do not want it to do because it can. Hopefully everything will figure itself out and you can go back to working on your Hudson's!

Well, I thought I had it fixed but no and once again it emailed a bunch of people. So I will be testing using a much smaller group of people (Club directors) until we can get it figured out. My apologies to those of you who are keep getting told your dues are expiring.
