Hi All,
My recently purchased Wasp has a 308 swapped in, but also came with it's numbers matching motor and trans. Just curious what I should do for long term storage of the unused motor/trans. They'll be inside on a pallet, but wondering if I should add or drain fluids, pull stuff or cover stuff or ???

Leave all oil in and spray the cylinders through the spark plug holes with some high quality anti rust oil to keep the rings from sticking/breaking. Spray the whole block with WD Penetrant and cover. Plug the exhaust and intake with oiled rags and fill the carb bowl with plain WD and work the linkage to pump the fluid through the system to maintain the seals, rubber and fuel passages.
