Looking for carburator gaskets for 53 308 twin H. Anybody help?

Do you mean gaskets for the Carbs to manifold? Try Fel-Pro 60269 I have 'em on mine. They are for Ford but work well. Just slightly ream the bolt holes.

However, if you want to go for the original type gaskets you could contact Dale Cooper; his website lists "3326 CARE MOUNTING GASKET 2BBL- $4". (One assumes he meant to say "CARB" not "CARE"!). Anyway, if you go to his website you can check it out for yourself and shoot him an e-mail just to verify. http://www.hudsonmotorcarco.com/
