I will be replacing the clutch on my 52 Hornet sometime this winter and would like to know if it can be done without removing the bell housing. Thanks Roger

THAT IS NOT POSSABLE YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO REMOVE THE TRANS REMOVE THE PREASURE PLATE AND INSTALL A NEW CLUTCH WHEN I DO THIS JOB I CHANGE EVERY THING PREASURE PLATE, THROW OUT BEARING,PILOT BEARING AND CLUTCH PLATE YOU HE EVERN SELLS A BELL HOUSING REBUSHING KIT ( IF YOUR CAR NEEDS IT)CAN GET THEM FROM WILDRICK RESTORATION YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE YOUR FLY WHEEL CHECKED OUT TO MAKE SURE IT'S OK ALSO

Yup - You'll need to pull the trans & bell housing. While you've got it out, it doesn't make any sense not to check it out and go over it completely (stem to stern).
