How do people make 70+ yr old hubcaps look like new? I suspect with considerable difficulty.

It occurs to me that the paintless dent repair fellows may be able to do this. I'm going to ask the the ones here.

Can anyone direct me how to make 70+ yr old Terraplane baby moon or dog dish hubcaps lose their many years of dents and once more look like new?

Thank you, whoever you may be.

Brownie Peterson published an article on this in a recent issue of WTN. if you are a HET member, you can access that right here online if you like. It was 2-3 issues ago.

I got the article - it's great! Of course, I have some questions.

Robert,

I'm going to have to give it a go sometime here as well. If I get to see Brownie in the not to distant future, I'll ask him in person. I also have a bunch of questions.

He obviously has the problem worked out, especially for a 1932 Exxex, and we should thank him for sharing with us. I have my questions, which my look foolish once the answers are known.

I'm not woried. I've looked foolish before.

Good luck with your project. Is it the 1933 rara avis Hudson Pacemaker Standard 8?
