I was having a play with the search feature and it gives me 54 1939 Hudson 112s registered here. Mine is the only RHD drive one but that may just be that I got it changed to RHD.
I know there are possibly around 12 in the UK with only a few of those on the road (mine not included)
So my ponder was ; would anyone care to guess how many more may be out there waiting to be discovered 🙂
A buddy of mine bought a 112 chassis off eBay a while back so there may be a stray body to go with that
Hi Paul,
That is something all of us ponder, from time to time. About all we can do is a 'WAG' (Wild A** Guess). I would hazard to guess that for every 'known' Hudson out there, there are most likely 3-4 that are not known (by 'known' I mean registered with the HET Club).
There are exceptions to this of course - The Italia model as an example.

As far as the chassis that was bought off of eBay - I think that was the chassis that Gary (in Canada) bought. There were a lot of other parts that came with the chassis when he purchased it (located in Washington State, I think). He actually bought it for the other parts that came with it, and did not take the chassis (did not have a way to get it home). The chassis was was recently re-listed on eBay - don't know if it sold the second time around.
I have a similar situation here, with me. I have a chassis for a 1947 Hudson Pickup that does not have a body. The body went to a 'rodder' who did not want the chassis - it was destined for the scrap heap when I 'rescued' it.
