And I did whilst reading an UK magazine called "Old Glory" which is about Steam and Vintage Preservation.

A part of this months was covering Steam Cars and the Derr sprang out at me. 

Apparently the Derr Steam Car was based on Hudson components , you can read a little more here:

Paul, very interesting about the steam car.  
My wife's grandfather, who at one time owned our 35 Terraplane, had a Brooks steam car.
He restored it from a pile of parts.
The Brooks were manufactured in Canada.
After his death in the mid 70's my wife's grandmother auctioned off all his cars that included Packards, Pierce Arrows and the Brooks.
The Brooks was purchased by Antique Automobiles LTD museum in Peterborough, England.
I often wondered if that Museum still exists as I don't find it on the web
