Oil Pressure transmitter for 1946 Hudson Truck

Can anyone out there inform me as to what oil pressure transmitter to use on my 1946 Hudson Truck. The tell-tale light is not lighting. Wiring is good, bulb is good, and I suspect the transmitter is the culprit. Thank you, Kevin Morrow

Kevin, it is a very simple switch. If you ground the wire going to the light from the sending unit, it should make the light on the dash luminate. If it doesn't, the switch is probably not the problem. If it does make the light luminate, then most likely the switch is gummed up and/or dirty inside and doesn't allow contact. The shop manual shows how this unit works. Hope this helps, Doug

I'm not sure, will have to search again. When you said you didn't want that, we returned it to inventory.
