The Christmas Gift movie with John Denver is a good movie with a 1937 Hudson as the featured vehicle for the Busy Bee Cab Company. After watching the movie several times, I have a question about the Hudson. When the cab picks up Denver at the little airport, both passenger doors are opened. There is no center post between the doors. I've watched, stopped and watched again and there is no post. Is this factory or was the car modified to remove the post for some reason?
Either way it's a good movie and the Hudson gets a starring role.
