Any of you guys have any tips on safely removing the hub caps on my ‘39 Hudson Coupe without damaging the rim/cap. Thanks 
Bob Drake (Ford Parts) makes a hubcap removal tool that comes in a canvas bag that works without chipping the paint.
You should get a set of plastic pry tools from Harbor Freight or some other source. They are very useful for removing door panels, hubcaps, aligning hoods and doors, etc. I use mine all the time.
