Is there a trick to remove the choke housing from the air horn on a WA-1 carburetor? Want to dis-assemble to clean and re-build but the choke housing is well attached.

Not yet. A fellow club member gave me a complete unit that was working when removed from the car. It's a year later model so I hope it will work on my car. Just need the time to get it all cleaned up, installed and tested. I did get to ride in a '39 Hudson with the electric hand so experienced how it actually worked. My brother passed away last year so trying to get his cars ready for the family to sell.
