I am planning on redoing the interior of my 48 Super Six. The door panels are grey vinyl and cloth, and the seats are dark/light grey and green stripes, but the headliner is tan in color. Can anyone tell me if it was originally grey and discolo
red over time, or if it was originally a tan color? Tan would sort of make sense as it would sort of match the woodgrain window surrounds, and the sunvisors are the same color. The piping around the doors is grey with a pattern in it but the same piping material is also used to trim the sunvisors, so perhaps the sunvisors were originally grey.
A while ago a club member posted a photo taken from the back seat, of his Dad driving their car many years ago. The interior looks like mine and the headliner also appears to be tan. I'd post the photo but I don't know who's photo it is to ask permission. These attached photos are mine
Any comments?
The photos are factory correct.
Thanks Dany. So tan color for the headliner then?
Yes
