'54 Hollywood Back Bench Seat ---Is it Unique?

Greetings & Happy Father's Day 2022!

I am struggling installing a rear bench seat into my '54 SuperWasp Hollywood. The bench seat I'm attempting to use is a donor out of  '54 Hornet Couple (the Wasp's original bench was missing from the car when I bought it). The coupe's bench seems to be about 2-3 inches too wide (it overhangs the raised floor shelf).

I'm under the impression that the '54 Hornet Coupe and '54 Wasp Hollywood bodies have identical dimensions from the firewall to the rear bumper. This leaves me wondering whether Hollywood rear bench seats might be different and unique? Maybe the bench was different because of the reinforced frame structure along the bottom of the door jams (to compensated for absence of B pillar)?

Any thoughts on the matter are greatly appreciated.

Robert, the rear seats on the Coupes and Hollywoods sit about 5-6" forward of that raised seat platform. You are probably missing the two L shaped metal brackets with the vertical spring clip that holds the seats up, and keeps them in place. Do you need those brackets? Bryan Cady might be sending me a good one to use as a pattern to make reproductions of.

Kenneth ---Thank you! I've been measuring both cars and scratching my head about this mystery for the last 3 days ---I was completely stumped. Both cars are missing those brackets so I had no "obvious" clues until I saw the picture you posted. Upon inspection I now see that the cars have the same small mounting holes (#10 screws?).

I have another question ---When the bench is installed on the brackets does the front bottom of the bench rest flush against the lower floor? Or is there a 1-2" space between bench and the floor that has to be filled with "X" part or material?

I'd be interested in buying a set of brackets if you do end up with a few extras.

By the way, the color of your door interior seems to match my SuperWasp's ---is it Coronation White?

Robert, the front lower edge of the rear seat bottom touches the carpet. No other filler parts that I know of.
