So far, we have: a nicely running engine, windows that go up and down and in and out, switches that switch, locks that lock (thanks Lance for those last two) and New Shoes. Spent too many hours wire brushing and painting the original wheels and polishing the hub caps, but they can stay until I find something nicer.New master cylinder just arrived, so as soon as the brakes are sorted...I can unstick the clutch and maybe go for a drive.

Ordered the new upholstery (blue and white houndstooth, as I couldn't bring myself to pay $158/yd. for mismatched, but fairly close striped cloth from SMS.
Sent the front hood chrome off to be re-plated, but I still could use a better hood.

P.S. The Jeep in the background was last year's "Okay, just this last time" barn find. I can quit any time I want...I swear. 🙂

Darren, are you taking about the SMS in Canby Oregon, outside Portland?  They are about 40 miles from me, and I need to get some windlace to replace a piece that got chewed by mice.  I've heard about them, but I haven't done business with them yet.  Have you?

I have not, but I ordered samples. None of which were a match, though the stripe pattern would have worked, but not close enough for the price. The automotive grade material I bought was around 65 per yd.
