Posted this question in my starter issue thread, but thought more eyeballs would catch it here.The concern is the wire that runs to the negative terminal of the coil. The subject in question is a '50 C6 with Super-Matic Drive.The coil wire has two eyelet connectors: one is at the end of the wire, and the other is about 6-8 inches from the end. The short one seems to terminate at the negative post on the coil and the terminal end just runs wild.Can someone tell me where those two terminals actually go before I try to start the engine? Also, if you look just below the oil filter canister there is a transmission control switch. On top is a teardrop shaped tab with a hole in it. I believe that is supposed to connect to the shifter mechanism somehow. I just noticed that is missing. I either misplaced it, or it wandered off long ago. Does anyone know what the missing part looks like and/or how it interacts with the rest of the system? TM
