Keith, rather than adding fog lights, if you haven’t already upgraded the headlights to LED types, give that a try before you add on fog lights. I use the “Trucklight” brand on my 1953 Hornet and they really light up the road. My Hornet is converted to 12 volts, which makes it easy. But I have seen 6 volt LEDs advertised too.

I put these on the Pacemaker. Made up brackets to utilize bumper bolts behind so no drilling holes needed. I don't have anything re original wiring etc but thought I would share the look. 

Hi, the correct, Hudson fog lights for 49 bolt through the fender below the headlamps.   Are these the ones you are thinking ofThe later fog lamps mount on brackets that bolt through the bumper.   Routing of the wiring is different for each version.   Let me know which ones you want/have and I’ll look up the wiring diagram.   I have both available.    Heck I think I have either version here that I can  sell. 

I am going to mount mine (I have a nice set already, in for re-chrome work) under the headlights.  Would appreciate any wiring sizes and diagram info you may have.Attached is a photo of the location I want.  Thank you.   

Keith, I have a copy of the original instructions for the installations of your under headlight fog lights. I can send you a copy if you wish.  Has all the drilling locations and wiring diagram all the way back to the switch. Terry
