Hello all,My car was delivered and taken off the transporter the day before Thanksgiving… so I have a lot to be thankful for. Today I got the car registered so I’m legal. This afternoon I put the car up on floor jacks to take a look at the bottom of the Hudson and also try to figure out where my tranny leaks and oil leaks originate. My brakes need to be restored. As Hudson newbie, I have a couple of questions.
1. Where might I purchase a Borg Warner DG-200 pan gasket as well as the oil pan gasket for this 54 Hudson Hornet.
2. Need to have my brakes worked on and the brake cylinders are original, so these need to be replaced on the car. Looks like Dorman on Bay has a replacement. Are all 4 brake cylinders the same?

Howard, welcome to the club.
There are two main sources of parts. Doug Wildrick and Dale Cooper. Dale has been known to be a little hard to get a hold of at times so that one may take a little patience or persistance.

There is also a source for replacement lenses etc. which is Greg Eschelman:

Ken Cates also maintains a page of resources: There is a lot of information here.

I don't have any answers to your brake cylinders, but I'm sure someone will chime in or it may be on Ken's page...
Front and rear wheel cylinders are not the same. Replace the three rubber brake lines as well. They deteriorate from the inside, out. I have seen some that look nearly new, that the rubber swelled up inside the hose, and closed the hole shut. When this happens, you can apply the brakes and push the fluid through, but the springs at the wheels can't push the fluid back to the master, so the brakes don't release. If you are going to have the wheel cylinders off, now is the time to do the hoses as well.
Doug Wildrick should have the wheel cylinders, as well as master cylinder, I second replacing the 3 flexible brake lines. Good luck.
