I have recently purchased the Commodore and will be looking for parts. Not sure exactly what I need yet. Just trying to stay ahead of the game and find someone who has parts for sale. All responses much appreciated!  Tony

Welcome!!

Congratulations on getting a '51 Commodore -- I have one myself, but a sedan and not a convertible.  I believe you'll find more responses once you start looking for specific things, but there's a really good support network for these cars on this forum and in this club, and I suspect most anything you'll need is available, although the body and interior stuff may not be available NOS or aftermarket.  Although there are a bunch of great suppliers for our cars, the folks I've done the most business with (so far) are:

Wildrick Rubber Parts ( https://www.wrphet.com   --  they do carry rubber parts, and so much more!)
Ace Auto Parts / Dale Cooper ( http://www.hudsonmotorcarco.com   --  engine internals, gaskets and rebuild kits, etc)
Lance Walker (704 792-9110, specializes in left-handed wingnuts and almost everything else I've ever needed, including emotional support!)

These are great cars and great people.  Glad you're here!

Good morning John! Thank you so much! This is just the info I was looking for. My Commodore was just delivered and, on Friday it went into the shop for inspection. It has been sitting in someone's collection for quite some time so I expect seals and gaskets will need replacing along with who knows what else, This info will help immensely! Again, your help is much appreciated!

Kind Regards,

Tony Amenta
