I picked up a double lever OD transmission and removed and cleaned up the OD solenoid thinking it was 6v but it won't engage using a battery charger as a 6v source but when I switch the charger to 12v the solenoid works fine. The number on the solenoid is 6AR10B-62. Is the battery charger not a good source for testing? Terry

Depending on the charger, it may not put out enough amperage to make it function properly.

That was the case. I took it over to where my C6 was at and jumped it directly off the 6v battery and it worked fine. Thanks Terry
