Hi all. In 1998, my father (dave fox from brockport, ny) sold his 33 terraplane 8 convertible to a gentleman in florida, and lost track of the car after that. Recently, he has been quite insistant on tracking it down. I'm sure many of you remember the car, it was red with a black top. Any and all information will be very much appreciated!

Michael Kearney, Sr., purchased the car from Dave back in the late 1990's I believe. Mike lived in the Northern Virginia area for many years, and was a member of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the H-E-T for awhile. Then in the early 2000's he moved to Florida (taking the '33, a '33 T. brougham, a '34 T. coupe and a neat '36 Pontiac convertible with him). I don't know if he still has any of the Hudsons.

I have sent an e-mail to a friend who is in the Pontiac car club, asking if he can get me some contact info on Mike (assuming Mike still has the Pontiac of course, and is in the POCI). I'll get back to you with my results.

Meanwhile, if you're in a rush, you could contact Michael's son, Michael Kearney Jr. The younger Kearney owns The Old Brougue Pub in Great Falls, Virginia. The Old Brougue is at 760C Walker Road, Great Falls, Virginia 22066. The phone number is 703-759-3309. The e-mail address is oldbrogue@aol.com . I would assume that Mr. Kearney Jr. will be a bit protective of his father's current contact information, so you would probably do well to write a letter or send an e-mail inquiry that young Michael can pass along to his father. At least, that's my ''take'' on the situation.

I don't see Michael Kearney in the POCI directory. There are two 36 convertibles listed. One 8 cylinder in KS, and a 6 in Falmouth,ME

Mike, Did you find the car # of the 33 T-8 ??

If not, it is listed in the registery of 1933 T's

as 73199. At the time still owned by Mike Kearney.

Hope this helps.

I have added this information to the database. It should show up in the registry report. If the new owner were to join the club and register it, it would show up. You might look in the registry report for cars that have the same characteristics but are listed with a N#### number. This means we did not have a serial number but you can look the owner up in the Find a Current club member or Find Past Club Member listing. If you do find out who owns it, let me know and I can add their information even if they are not a club member. Happy hunting.
