Tips to remove Hornet Instrument panel

Gents, I’ve decided to pull out the instrument panel to disassemble, clean, lube, and replace the red plastic lenses that have deteriorated. I’ll also look at the clock, which isn’t working. I’d appreciate any tips or guidance on how best to do this.

Disconnect the speedometer cable and unscrew the 5 nuts holding the gauge cluster assembly and it will pull forward enough to get behind it (see picture in link for positions). This also makes is much easier to free the gauges.
