Hello everyone, I just bought a 1942 Hudson Six Traveler with the VIN T 2017742, does anyone know the date of manufacture using the VIN?
From what I can tell it looks like it would have been sometime late November or December.

According to Butler's "History of Hudson" only around 6,000 cars were shipped in 1942. You need to look for dates stamped into the cylinder head and block castings to get an estimate of when it was built. Probably late 1941, when the so-called 1942 models were introduced.

Thank you, for that information. Great looking vehicle, is it a 1953 Hudson Hornet?
I had very good friends Paul and Marge Hobbs they lived in Sharon, New Hampshire and were members of this club.
