This is how my OD on my '50 C6 is hooked up from the dash engagement knob under the dash to the OD unit on the transmission. It seems like something is missing on the tranny end...i.e.,...maybe some type of yoke? The picture was taken looking up laying on the floor. Thanks Terry
See attached. The bolt must clamp down on the cable so it can both push and pull the lever. The cable hosing brace needs to be installed so that the cable housing doesn't move.

I'm missing the bracket that retains the clamp as shown in the top picture. Anyone have one of those they'd like to sell? Terry
You might try calling Lance Walker (704-792-9110). He stocks many old Hudson parts.
