Seems to be some options out there for front wheel cylinders, would like to clarify fitment , brand and #. Rear cylinders seem to be harder to find, 15/16 inch. I've rebuilt them but a rear and a front are pretty bad and leak. will try honing again but am ready for replacements. These are original as far as I can tell.
thanks to all for suggestions about transmission issue. Jim

NAPA has everything you need:

Master Cylinder (48-54 Hudson) M3081 NAPA
Brake Hose (works for 2 front and 1 rear) 11149 NAPA/United
Front Wheel Cylinder (Left, 48-54 Hudson) 18290 NAPA
Front Wheel Cylinder (Right, 48-54 Hudson) 18291 NAPA
Rear Wheel Cylinder (Left, 40-54 Hudson) 370192 NAPA
Rear Wheel Cylinder (Right, 40-54 Hudson) 370193 NAPA

This is what is on my 1951 Super 6. Your Hornet will have the same brakes. The only annoyance is that the bleed screw head on the brake cylinders is metric. Everything else fits perfectly.

If you replace the master cylinder, you might as well get a new brake light switch from NAPA as well:

Brake Light Stop Switch ECH SL 134 Echlin Ignition

I have a complete set of the hydraulic brake parts for a LWB Stepdown, including new banjo bolt, copper washers and the brass Y outlet. $230 + Shipping. This is an extra set I bought when I FORGOT I already had a set on hand, LOL.

Hello Kenneth ---I completely rebuilt the brakes on a 53' Hollywood a couple of months ago including replacing every part shown in your pictures EXCEPT the "Y" outlet and banjo bolt. Do you know the individual part number(s) and supplier information for the "Y" and banjo bolt? Also, if you are open to parting the kit I'd buy these two sub-parts. Please advise, Thank you
