Just got this car, torque arms are removed, is it worth putting them back on? Also there is a hole in the glovebox door , anyone know what this was for?
Thanks

I should have said the torque arms to the front axle have been removed. They just started to use them in 1936. They came with the car, but in the trunk.
Thanks for any help

If it has spring shackles on both ends of the front springs, they should be there to properly locate the front axle, If it is mounted on a stud at the rear of the front spring the you probably don't need them.

Thanks Tom. I was wondering why the rear spring mounts looked like they were home made, welded on.

Thanks Tom, I'll keep it in mind. Mine are in fairly good shape, for now. Do you have any other '36 parts?
