I pulled a big six out of a stepdown and do to so I removed two of the 7/16 head bolts to connect the cherry picker. I now decided to put a twin h setup on this engine so will need to remove 5 more head bolts.

My question is.... will I have trouble with the head gasket now that I removed those studs? or is 7 of 21 not bad? haha

Will it be best to pull the head and do a new gasket and head bolts and re-torque?

Dan, if the head has not been off the car in recent memory, I recommend getting a new head gasket and new bolts, you can get the bolts from McMaster-carr. Dale Cooper ( https://www.hudsonmotorcarco.com/) will have the head gasket. and may have the bolts. If you do this, don't forget to re-torque after you have warmed up the motor.
