What auto trans fluid should I use in my 54 Hornet BW DG-2?? automatic Trans
Dave ---I own a 54' SuperWasp Hollywood that sports the BW transmission. The old timer who rebuilt the unit for me recommended using today's "Dextron" transmission fluid (originally known as Type "A" fluid but now called "Dexron"). The car isn't road worthy yet so I cannot vouch for its performance and/or longevity. However I have no reason to doubt the builder's choice especially since he's rebuilt transmissions for a living since the 60's.

Just as Robert has said... the specific naming that I use in my DG200 installed in a 1954 Super Wasp Club sedan is: Dextron III Also review the attachment ... the DG200 fill was incorrect for some transmissions. I was found one of the incorrect dipsticks in my cars transmission. Since fixed it with a proper dipstick.
Thanks for the detailed info Ken! Knowledge is power (and reliability in this case)!!
