Hello, I have a '37 T and I am slowly but surely putting it back together. Today's problem is bolting the front fenders to the frame. In particular, there is a U-shaped bar 22" long with two holes on either end (so four total) that bolts to flanges on the frame, one flange on either side, at the very front, the flanges facing towards each other. Clearly the bar is a support for the front of the fender. (there are bolt holes for the fender supports too) My question is whether the bar is bolted on the top or the bottom of the flange? And do the ears of the 'U' face up or down? The proper placement of this bar will affect the alignment of the front fenders so I want to get it right. I have searched all my literature and I can't find a diagram or photo anywhere. GRRRR!
Thanks for any assistance!

John,
It's great to see another NW HET member online! You might post some pictures if you can, that will help others understand what you're wanting to know. Looking forward to seeing your Terraplane soon!
Tim
John, If you could post some pictures it would help. I have a 37 Terraplane and may be of some help, but I'm not sure what your are referring to.
Gene.
