could someone tell me how many foot lbs there is on a 1936 Terraplane 212 head bolts.

A gentleman passed a torque specification sheet at the nationals. Cylinder head studs = 40 foot pounds. While at it sparkplugs = 28 foot pounds.
I suggest you check the setting after the motor has rub for a while.

As Bill said, my Motor's manual shows all the Hudson and Terraplane 6 cyl. are 40 lb-ft 1935 (the first year covered by this manual) up through 1947. The step-down 6 cyl are 70 (starting in 1948). The 8 cyls are all 45.
