I've looked at dozens of pictures looking for the hole location in the firewall to see which one is used to run the speedo cable assembly out of.
Anyone have a picture they can post?

I thought I posted a reply to this, last night. But now it's gone. Not sure what happened.
Anyway, I do not speak from authority but I believe that there is no hole. In my car, my speedo cable jacket curves down from inside the dashboard and snakes between the transmission cover and the toeboard (or firewall, if you will). There is an indentation or groove in the transmission cover, the same size as the speedo jacket, which allows it to pass through. So I am guessing that this is where the cable goes. But again, I do not pass this along as an absolute fact.
Yes, I have conformation from another owner that the cable runs as you say.
