We are currently restoring a 1934 Hudson Roadster in New Zealand. In terms of seating we only have the back part of the original seat. Does anyone have a spare base they may wish to sell or alternativeky, if there is a spare Roadster or Coupe complete seat set that may be for sale I am interested.

He was a member of the NZ HET Club until 2010, have you thought of rejoining? Since those days we have a club website with good pics & info & a membership application form.We will have an AGM in Inglewood in late October which you may find interesting & that would be a good place to inquire about a seat base for your 34 H Roadster. Our magazine editor would probably be able to also put an advert in our bi-monthly magazine- The Triangle. You can contact Alister on triangle@het.org.nz

Thanks for your response. Yes, as you know Dad had a number of Terraplane cars. My brother and I are continuing his enthusiasm as regards car restoration. We have a number of additional Hudson and Terraplane that may also be restored over time. But what keeps us busy at the moment is the Roadster. I am actually based in London and come home for three months over the summer. Unfortunately this means I will be unable to come along to the AGM however, I shall contact Alistair - thanks for his email. I will also join the NZ HET Club. Perhaps someone may be able to assist me. Thanks once again for responding.
