guys and gals, please look at my pictures and help me identify what this hood ornament would on go, what year and model of hudson used this shown ornament?
so far, it doesn't look to match a friends 1949 and it doesn't match my 1951 hornet, either.

so far, it doesn't look to match a friends 1949 and it doesn't match my 1951 hornet, either. That hood ornament was used on the 1950 Commodore 6 & 8 as well as the 1951 Commodore 6 & 8. The base was the same for the 1951 Hornet but the triangle was larger and gold colored.
does anybody need the ornament for their car? I could be coaxed to sell it. [ but it does look good in my man cave ]
