I can purchase a big boy in very bad condition and would like to know if there is any prospect of finding the missing body parts, being the front end (both fenders, bonnet, bumper).
As you may know, the pickup truck is a derivative of the Hudson passenger car, so many parts are interchangeable. Therefore, you probably have a good opportunity to acquire the sheet metal from a sedan. The difficult parts to find will be the sheet metal which is unique to the pickup truck: the cab, the bed, and the rear fenders.
It might be more cost-effective to purchase a Hudson pickup truck which is in complete condition. Then you will not be spending hundreds of dollars to acquire the missing pieces. Have you shopped around? There are a surprising number of Hudson pickup trucks in existence. The internet is a good place to start looking.
Noted. Thanks for calling out that the PU's rear fenders are unique.
