I need an intake manifold for a twin H 262. Mine has a hole. Spacing of studs for carb is 2-11/16 inch.

Is the hole just a soft plug eroded or rusted out underneath? I never discard a Twin H and patch if possible.
The hole is a rust hole on the underside. Its about the size of the tip of my finger. I'm concerned that the location of the hole will make it difficult to repair. I would rather have a good manifold if I can find one.
[b]Understand. 262 Intakes are scarce but someone may have one but don't discard yours.[/b] There are ways to patch that work well. I patched a real bad one then put a thin stainless plate between manifolds to block off the exhaust just in case didn't hold years ago. Only drawback was cold start ran rough a few minutes without exh heat..
