Looks like a '35 Hudson Eight. It might be a special body by a British company; the windshield isn't "stock", nor are the headlight buckets, and the horn trumpets seem a bit longer than the ones from Detroit. For comparison, here's a US version:

Thanks Jon , that was confusing me as well. I'd marked it in my head as a 1935 but there seemed to be some differences to it.

This was sent by a chap and it was his Great-Uncle's car. Randolph Trafford was his name, take a look [url= http://www.ewyaslacy.org.uk/-/Randolph-Trafford-The-Flying-Years-by-James-Baxendale-O-B-E-/1927-1943/rs_mic_0162 ]here[/url] he seems quite a character!
