Any suggestions on a good source for wiring harness? I have rewired several vehicles in the past. But, finding a supplier is the hard part. Thanks for your help!

262 head on a 308? and Hydra-matic, real good combo for cruising.

Question, what difference does the 262 Head do on a 308 body? Does that give bigger valves or are they smaller? I had not noticed that before you said something? That is why I posted all the pictures to get everyone to say something about what I hadn't seen. Thanks for the comment.

The 262 Head raises the compression slightly because it has slightly smaller combustion chambers resulting in little more power. The valves are in the Block and remain the same diameter.regardless.

I have been reading about engine repair, When the engine has set for a long time the oil slowly drains away from surfaces in the engine and become completely dry. One person recommended that fogging oil be used in an engine to prevent that. However, it seems to indicate that this be done prior to storage. In an engine old like this one, setting for a long time. Would it be recommended that this oil be shot into the cylinders prior to trying to turn over the engine? Maybe allowing the motor to set a few days with this oil in the cylinders?

Determine if the motor will; turn over first. If not then try pouring pentrant into the sparkplug holes. Also remove the side covers and squirt pentrant on the valve guides
