I have just received some very nice front suspension canvas splash shields from Laurie Fromm and will soon start on installation. She also sent me a copy of installation instructions written by Ken Ufheil. So far so good. However, the old ones are pretty much gone so I'm not exactly sure of how the new ones fit on the inner fender. If anyone has a good picture of the inside of a front wheel well on a Hornet that shows the positioning of the canvas splash shield I would really appreciate you posting it. As they say one picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you for any help you can pass along.

The two pictures are not the best but show where the shields go. The center of the shield is centered above the upper control arm and spread out on each side of the metal fender well. The original staples that held the factory shield should provide you with location for the replacement staples you will use to attach the shield. I am not a purist and used rivets instead of manufacturing the staples to install my fabric splash guards.

I agree, rivets and washers are far easier to use than staples, and only real nit-pickers will comment.
