Where would I be able to purchase a new oil seal for my Hydramatic transmission? I have a 53 Hornet and the transmission leaks pretty bad. I am almost positive its leaking from the front seal (not the large gasket that is between the flywheel and the fluid coupling). I will pull the trans to confirm where the leak is once I know I can find a new seal/O-ring. I'd prefer not to buy one that has been sitting on someone's shelf for the past 65 years that is potentially dry rotted. Please let me know if someone knows where to buy this.

I've done it, not too bad a job. The 30 some odd torus bolts are a pain though. You'll also need to get a new torus gasket as well. You'll need some hefty external snap ring pliers too.
