Hopefully I've made a small error and not the BIG ONE.

1954 Hornet with overdrive

I got a new clutch Wednesday and tonight was installing it. When I reattached the clutch pedal cross shaft I tried out the pedal.

It goes to the floor and doesn't come back up.

I can't find pictures in the manual. Is there more than one way to attach the clutch cross shaft? (Obviously I know there's only one correct way)

Or did I not put the throw out bearing in correctly. Its oriented right, but I don't know what it should look like.

Ugh. I got a feeling I'm screwed into taking the trans out again.

Never mind.

I just needed to adjust the clutch.

I got it back together, by some miracle. The clutch feels great.

Lifes harder. But it's harder when your dumb.
