What is the optimum fuel pressure for a '53 double action fuel pump operating on a '262' engine with Twin-H? Very hard starting after 5-6 hours after shutoff. New plugs, points, cap & rotor. Car runs good otherwise.

FYI
5 - 7 lbs. However first check to ensure gas squirts into carb before starting & if chokes are closed. If everything checks out long cranking to start cold can be eliminated by installing an electric pump near the tank.
