Need help. How to remove windshield chrome insert without damage? Would like to reuse. This is the chrome or stainless that borders the front windshield. Thanks Lon

remove the center divider, remove the INSIDE windshield metal molding, remove the glass from the INSIDE (it just lifts out) the stainless is just a thin U shaped part that slips over the pinch weld, can be slipped off.
