I was given an exhaust manifold that was said to be for a 308 engine. The part number cast into it is 307049. However. I can't find this part number in the parts book. Does anyone know what engine this fits? Specifically will it fit on a 1953 Hornet?

This is quite common for numbers embossed on parts to not match with the parts catalogue number. As far as I know, all exhaust manifolds are the same from '48 thru '56, for all engines with single carburetors. The 232 motors had different intake manifolds, having only a single throat carburetor.
