Our 1950 Hudson Commodore has an issue we think is a bad throwout bearing. When the clutch is engaged it makes a loud noise (not quite a grinding sound), and it goes away when the clutch is disengaged. Based on other cars, we think it might be a bad bearing. Can anyone confirm based on their experiences? If we're correct, any advice on the best source for the part?
