Hi, FWIW, I got a replacement hood hinge from American Antique Auto Parts for my '37. The original suffered from metal fatigue and could not be attached at the rear. The new one has a slightly wider gap for the hood pieces, so fits even better than original. I had to cut it shorter. Here's a photo, original at the top, new one on the bottom. I guess this was addressed previously.

Paul, Bob Drake the FORD guy has them in stock. I used one on a 33 Terraplane hood. Ed Moore
the hood hinge is available at American Antique Auto Parts . The specific part number is on my first post above. They have brackets also, but I did not order them so I cannot say if the brackets fit. Good luck, everyone!
